Bills Draft Picks Video Highlights

I found a few good videos below at YouTube, which I can embed here, but there are a bunch more including interviews, as well as in-depth articles at BuffaloBills.com. The Multimedia section has been revamped, and the video is much better quality, and easier to use (with a nice full-screen option as well... just wish they'd let me embed them here...)

Check out all the new players at: buffalobills.com/multimedia

Don't forget the wealth of inside information at Chris Brown's blog, and here are a couple other great articles to check out from our favorite Bills reporter... :-)

Great Draft Classes: 1985 Buffalo Bills

With the draft quickly approaching, NFL.com has the "Greatest Draft Class" videos up, and the 1985 Buffalo Bills were #9 on their list. Some fun highlights of Bruce Smith, Andre Reed & Frank Reich. Spotlight on Bill Polian as well, who kind of came out of nowhere to become one of the greatest GMs in football! (Building the 1990 Buffalo Bills, then the Carolina Panthers, and the Indianapolis Colts.)

We don't have Polian, but I really like our past two drafts, and expect more of the same from this one. Might we say some day that the draft of 2007 was one of the top draft classes? (Marshawn Lynch, Paul Pozluszny, and Trent Edwards?)

Again, can't embed, so... here ya go!

Kelly To Reed

I found a cool video on NFL.com today featuring our favorite passer-catcher combo, Jim Kelly and Andre Reed. They were number five in a list of greatest passing combos. They were pretty great! This short video has some great highlights from those years. Reed made some just spectacular grabs!

Can't embed NFL.com videos, so click here to view it at their site.

Enjoy!

Buffalo @ New England Highlights Video

LINK: I know, I know... they are hardly highlights, but.. check out the part where Losman's knee is hit. CLEAR video evidence that Wilfork was AIMING for Losman's knee. He dives straight at it with his ELBOW. Yikes. I hope some serious fines are levied. What is it with this team??? They are already by far the most talented... why must they cheat??

Bills vs Broncos Photos

640 x 480

These are some photos we took yesterday at the Bills/Broncos game. Music by Mel Jesse George (some friends of ours). Game images, Steve Tasker's Wall of Fame induction, and the injury to Kevin Everett. So sad.

Enjoy the photos.

Pre-Season Videos

Hey folks. Have a couple Bills videos for you here. Well, they are really slideshows. I uploaded them to YouTube (why not use their bandwidth instead of ours!) and have posted them here. One is from the Bills/Falcons pre-season game, the other is a selection of photos from our visits to Training Camp at SJFC in Rochester. Fun times had by all.

Enjoy!

The Wave @ The Ralph

This video was taken at The Ralph last Friday... the smallish pre-season crowd got the Wave going in the second half, and so I decided to record it. :-)

The Thurmanator

Thurman Thomas and Marv Levy at 2007 Hall of Fame Enshrinement
As most (I'd guess ALL) of you know, Thurman Thomas was enshrined at the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, OH this weekend. His career forever bronzed in a metal representation of his head.

If you got to see him play, you know what an amazing career it was. (I still contend he is the best overall player in the old NES game Tecmo Superbowl...) The guy led the league in yards from scrimmage ... several times! You can check out all his stats, but most people who watched him know that it was his determination to win, to overcome, that not only set him apart, but for the span of his career with the Bills, was the mark of the entire team.

Maybe it started with the Thurmanator.

If you click the image above it will open a streaming video in RealPlayer of Thurman's HOF speech on Aug 4th. But there are many more things at the HOF site, so click on that link below. There's also a great video up at the Buffalo Bills website, so check that out when you can. Plus, a great article at NFL.com by Vic Carucci.

It's time to celebrate Thurman, so here are some good ways to do it. (Add any others in the comments below...)

John Wendling Video

I heard that this guy was "freakishly athletic" and that there was a video out there to prove it... well, leave it to YouTube to provide that video evidence! Pretty crazy! Sounds like he was a good sixth round find!

Brian Moorman Hit - on YouTube

Brian Moorman takes a whollup and gets right back up and goes to tell Sean Taylor (who hit him) he thought it was a good hit... pretty funny.

Moorman is not only an amazing punter, and one of the best players on the Bills' roster... he's also a very likeable guy. Fun to root for guys like that.

NFL Super Ad | Hard to Say Goodbye

Here's the Super Bowl Ad that fellow Bills fan Gino Bona won the right to have aired. A little different from the original pitch, but I liked the ending. :-)

Stephanie Sings The National Anthem

Nice! Steph LaBarge, our friend who sang the National Anthem at the San Diego game posted the video on YouTube! Sweet! Check it out! I think her husband, Dave did the editing... or at least some of it :-) He does great stuff too! (http://labargemedia.com)
