Buffalo @ New England Highlights Video

LINK: I know, I know... they are hardly highlights, but.. check out the part where Losman's knee is hit. CLEAR video evidence that Wilfork was AIMING for Losman's knee. He dives straight at it with his ELBOW. Yikes. I hope some serious fines are levied. What is it with this team??? They are already by far the most talented... why must they cheat??

Article: Break Up The Parity

There is a football site that has us (the Buffalo Bills Review) on their mailing list. They have some interesting articles over there, including one I read today regarding "parity" in the NFL. The word is used a lot, and according to ColdHardFootballFacts.com, inaccurately. They have some interesting stats to back it up.

Check out their article: Our Pigskin Police Breaks Up The Parity

NFL Network [[[FREE]]] on iTunes

NFL Network on iTunesOK, not the whole network, but I found out tonight that the NFL Network is offering their team previews for each NFL team for FREE on iTunes this week. Don't know how long this is going to last, so go download! They are only seven minutes long, but hey... they're FREE. :-)

EDITOR'S NOTE: I should have known that this was too good to be true. After downloading about EIGHT team previews... I discovered that they are all the same!!! Lousy NFL. It's a fun seven minute video, but ... come on. Why you gotta test the market like that. Get my hopes up and all. Oh well. Let's all download the via the Bills link and let them know the BILLS are the most popular team out there! (At least on iTunes...)

The Thurmanator

Thurman Thomas and Marv Levy at 2007 Hall of Fame Enshrinement
As most (I'd guess ALL) of you know, Thurman Thomas was enshrined at the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, OH this weekend. His career forever bronzed in a metal representation of his head.

If you got to see him play, you know what an amazing career it was. (I still contend he is the best overall player in the old NES game Tecmo Superbowl...) The guy led the league in yards from scrimmage ... several times! You can check out all his stats, but most people who watched him know that it was his determination to win, to overcome, that not only set him apart, but for the span of his career with the Bills, was the mark of the entire team.

Maybe it started with the Thurmanator.

If you click the image above it will open a streaming video in RealPlayer of Thurman's HOF speech on Aug 4th. But there are many more things at the HOF site, so click on that link below. There's also a great video up at the Buffalo Bills website, so check that out when you can. Plus, a great article at NFL.com by Vic Carucci.

It's time to celebrate Thurman, so here are some good ways to do it. (Add any others in the comments below...)

McGahee Welcomed to Baltimore

On Willis' first carry down at Ravens' training camp, a ROOKIE LB (6th rounder, no less) hit him so hard that he knocked the ball loose. Nice!

Check out the full article at Ohio.com. (Not sure where Ohio plays into this...)

Also, see Chris Brown's blog at BuffaloBills.com for more fuel on the McGahee fire that will be raging me thinks by Oct 21 when he makes his return to Buffalo. Should be very interesting...
