BBR2: Show 2.1.19 [January 3, 2007]

Download | Stream

Well, that's a wrap! Close the curtains, turn off the lights. The Bills are staying home AGAIN. No playoffs for the boys from Buffalo. We already knew that, but it was like a bludgeoning with a nice dull instrument going up against the #1 defense and just really doing almost nothing in Baltimore to finish the season.

In this show we discuss:
  • Game Review: Bills finish 7-9... But Lee Evans is cool!
  • See Dick Coach: See Dick Lose. Otra Vez.
  • First Thoughts On The Offseason: Free Agents, and What to do with Willis
  • Wrap up, and Circling The Wagons
Even in the offseason, please do send us your comments or questions on all the latest Bills news to our mail, or call the LISTENER HOTLINE 24/7 at (716) 989-4180. We'd love for you to join the conversation! Just be sure to keep it "pithy".

NEXT SHOW: 2nd ANNUAL BUFFALO BILLS REVIEW AWARDS! Get your votes in by e-mail. (See last year's awards page for ideas on what sorts of categories we might have...) or leave your audio comments on the BBR hotline! Show will post next Tuesday morning (Jan 8).
Thanks for joining us for Buffalo Bills Review: a show by Bills fans, for Bills fans!

Arrgh, bad couple of losses there but lots to build from. One thing I must say is...even though he was one of my favorite players, TKO...we need to Bills-euthenize him. He looked like a fat man running after an ice cream truck the past season and he just doesn't fit the scheme. Hope you guys had a nice holiday, I'm back to the wintery DC area...gonna be 60 degrees today...bbrrrrrr!

Anyways...one thing I would like to see you guys debate next week is what rookie do you think had the most impact, and which rookies do you see getting das boot? Personally, while the rookies fit in the scheme well, I would say no one really blew me away with their abilities. Two people I would say suprised me is Kyle Williams and also Ellison, they both played well considering their late round pickings.

Also, what FA's this season performed the best, and who should we let go? I'd have to say out of all the FA's we aquired this offseason...Kiwaukee Thomas is the one who had the most impact, he is around the ball all the time, many big deflections and covers well in the nickel packages. I would also give honorable mention to Melvin Fowler, heading up the O-line. He's a high character guy and is rarely one to give up a sack. As for the right side of the O-line...they're a bunch of bums!

Can't wait for your next podcast, and thanks for the giddy props, as always guys! Haha.
